Accessibility
The pedestrianised area outside our office is paved and relatively flat with no steps and only a slight camber in places. It is accessed from every direction by standard pavements and the surrounding areas are generally relatively flat. Public benches are available opposite. The adjacent roads, Friar Street, Blagrave Street and The Forbury, can be busy, with some parked cars, making crossing challenging. The nearest pedestrian crossings are located on Friar Steet and The Forbury, around a two-minute walk away. Our main entrance is accessed via two steps, with a handrail and button press automatic doors. An accessible and wheelchair friendly entrance with a small ramp is available to the right-hand side of our building, via a flat passageway. Both entrances provide easy access to our reception area, client meeting rooms and accessible and standard toilets, which are all reached via the same corridor on the ground floor. A hearing loop is available, refreshments are offered to all clients and visitors and we can provide water for assistance dogs upon request. Please contact us if you require further help or information or if you will be visiting our offices and have any requirements.
