Partner Tasha Bevan-Stewart, in our leading Family Law team, formed part of a team to train new collaborative lawyers for Resolution last week.
Collaborative divorce is a way for couples to sort out their financial and other arrangements with each of them having a lawyer present at round table meetings, adopting a constructive problem-solving approach. It allows other professionals such as financial advisers to consult and be part of the team.
Collaborative training for lawyers was paused during the pandemic due to the interpersonal nature of the course; and Tasha has been delighted to help redesign and relaunch the course for post-pandemic working. This is the second running of the new programme she has presented – the first course was launched in late 2022.
Tasha continues to build on her expertise in collaborative and other out of court methods of helping families through separation via her involvement as co-chair of Resolution’s Collaborative Practice Working Party.
Our specialist Family Law team can provide advice on all aspects of Family Law and divorce.
