Blandy & Blandy Supports Local Charity CLASP

Wokingham based charity CLASP, a self-advocacy group for people with learning disabilities in the Wokingham Borough, recently welcomed two colleagues from law firm Blandy & Blandy to speak to many of the local people it supports.

Solicitor Sophie Stone and legal assistant Louise Ryan gave a presentation and answered questions on Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs). Blandy & Blandy, which provides a full range of legal services in relation to life and business, has an office in Wokingham at 5 Market Place.

Debs Morrison, Chief Executive Officer of CLASP, said: “It is key that our members understand the importance of this information for their lifetime planning. It has been fantastic that Blandy and Blandy have taken the time to create information and conversation in a straightforward, non-jargon way to help us understand it all. Our members will now have the confidence to go to them for help with their legal requirements. Thank you, Sophie and Louise. Your time was invaluable.”  Debs is also a trustee of Wokingham United Charities.

Sophie added: “Thank you to the team at CLASP for making us feel very welcome to everyone who joined us on the day. We look forward to continuing to work with local charities like CLASP who are doing such important work in our local community.”
