Emma Ford is a solicitor in our Corporate & Commercial team and advises clients from our Reading, Henley-on-Thames and Wokingham offices, as well as remotely.

She primarily advises clients in relation to corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, MBOs, group reorganisations and restructurings, joint ventures, share option schemes and the sale/purchase of businesses, advising individuals, owner-managed businesses and larger corporations.

Emma also advises in relation to a range of corporate and commercial matters, including corporate governance and reorganisation, share buybacks, due diligence, disclosure, company incorporations and company secretarial duties.

She is recommended in The Legal 500.

Emma joined Blandy & Blandy permanently in 2022, having completed her training at the firm.

Examples of recent work

  • Advised the selling shareholders of Engineering Partnership Services Limited, a Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health (MEP) Engineering services company, in relation to the sale of the entire issued share capital to Contollo Group.
  • Advised Higgs Group on the sale of The Henley Standard and various other newspaper and magazine titles to Baylis Media.
  • Advised Winchester Wines EOT Limited on the sale of Winchester Wines Group Limited to The Heritage Wine Company.
  • Advised on the cross-border sale of VJ Tech Limited, a manufacturer of advanced technical equipment for the geotechnical and construct industries, to US company Nova Measurements LLC.
  • Advised the shareholders of Woodwhite Accountants Limited, a well-regarded firm of chartered accountants and tax advisors, in relation the sale of the entire issued share capital of the company to Xeinadin Group Limited, a top-20 firm of accountants and business advisors.
