David Murray is a partner and head of our Dispute Resolution team, specialising in Commercial Litigation and Insolvency. He advises clients from our Reading, Henley-on-Thames and Wokingham offices, as well as remotely.

He is a very experienced litigator, accustomed to providing practical and commercial advice to organisations and individuals on disputes of all sizes and complexity. He also advises clients on risk identification, avoidance and management. In addition, David is a qualified mediator via the ADR Group, skilled in appearing as an advocate at innumerable mediations.

Throughout his career, David has been actively involved in advising insolvency practitioners, funders, companies and directors on insolvency, turnaround and business reconstruction matters. He provides proactive advice on the wide range of issues that arise in insolvency and turnaround, including contract, property, and employment rights. David has a particular expertise in contentious insolvency matters.

David joined the firm from what is now Blake Morgan in 2014. He is recommended in the UK's leading guides to law firms, The Legal 500 and Chambers UK Guide, and has appeared on BBC radio as a legal expert.
