Director of Marketing and Business Development
Location: Reading, Henley-on-Thames & Wokingham
David Lamont is our director of marketing and business development. He leads our marketing and business development functions and plays a key role in the firm’s strategy and direction.
His particular areas of interest include marketing strategy, brand and reputation, and digital marketing and engagement.
David joined Blandy & Blandy in 2014, having previously worked in the business education, media and online services sectors.
He has 20 years' experience in marketing and has been a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) since 2006 and a Chartered Marketer (CMktr) since 2009. In 2021 he became a Fellow of the CIM (FCIM).
David is chair of our CSR Committee, the firm having donated around £100,000 to local charities in recent years. Outside of work, he has occupied voluntary roles as a parish councillor, school governor, charity trustee and Young Enterprise mentor and judge.
