Claire Clarke is a partner in the family team specialising in family law, particularly high value financial cases and disputes concerning arrangements for the children. She is widely respected for her significant expertise and handling of complex and challenging matters.

Claire joined Blandy & Blandy as a partner in 2023, having previously worked as a partner at a Family Law practice in the London. Prior to that she worked at a top ranked UK and international law firm.

In 2018 Blandy & Blandy was named as a finalist in the 'Family Law Firm of the Year - South' category at the Family Law Awards in London and in 2022 the firm was shortlisted and 'highly commended' in the same category.

Examples of recent work

  • Advising clients on all issues relating to divorce and separation and supporting them through the legal process.
  • Advising clients on a range of Children Act cases involving both living arrangements for the children and complex specific issues such as addiction, parental ill health requiring the involvement of medical experts, relocation both on a national and international basis and parental alienation.
  • Advising in a range of financial remedy cases from the most straightforward through to those involving very substantial assets and investments, international issues, non-disclosure elements, tax issues, trusts and complex remuneration structures.
  • Advising and supporting clients where there are allegations of abuse requiring the intervention of the court and in respect of applications for non-molestation and occupation orders.
  • Advising clients on out of Court options including round-table meetings, mediation, arbitration and Private Financial Dispute Resolution (FDR) hearings and supporting them throughout.
  • Engaging with separated couples and other lawyers to work in the Collaborative Law process to assist clients in reaching rounded solutions for their families.
  • Advising cohabitants on arrangements for their children, financial matters and where appropriate applications to the court and drafting Cohabitation Agreements.
  • Advising on and drafting Separation agreements and Pre and Post Nuptial agreements.
